![]() ![]() So this must be the explanation as to the error though I'm not sure what I can do to resolve it.Įdit to add: I now see that launching directly from the folder caused a log to be generated so I'll send that to you.Īdditional note: I suppose it's possible the log was generated by successfully launching the DX9 version but I assume you can tell what generated the log somehow. I tested that because I thought perhaps it simply didn't like being launched directly as opposed to Steam. I'm not calling for anyone's head on a pike. Judging from many other reactions, I'm not alone in thinking that what was released is not the game we voted for. The game was greenlit almost entirely by fans of the classic Crimsonland. My brother and I loved playing this when it came out years ago, but this new and 'improved' version is terrible. When launching the non DX11 version from the install directly it doesn't produce that error, and of course it launches from Steam without issue as well. That's a pretty harsh title, but that's how I feel. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." This error window doesn't appear when launching through Steam. ![]() I find that if I run Crimsonland-D3D11.exe by double-clicking on the exe directly from the game's install folder I get a error window that says "The program can't start because XINPUT_1_4.dll is missing from your computer. Within the 10tons directly are two folders: cache and profiles - neither of which appear to contain a log. I did as you instructed but there does not appear to be a log being generated. ![]()
